Before the Rain Breaks (8×8)

Before the Rain Breaks was created in the late winter of 2021 on a misty, crisp, silver morning with rainclouds drifting overhead. Painted en plein air in Audubon Park near the bird park in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is an original oil painting on wood and measures 8x8x.75 inches. The sides are lightly stained and the painting has a glossy varnish. The painting is signed on the bottom right in oil and on the back in pencil with the title and year.
