The Earth Grows Thick (8×8)

The Earth Grows Thick was created in the spring of 2021 on a misty, cool morning when all of the new greens were filling the sky. Painted en plein air in the oak grove in City Park, next to Story Land, in New Orleans, while ibises roamed around.

This is an original oil painting on wood and measures 8x8x.75 inches. The sides are lightly stained and the painting has a glossy varnish. The painting is signed on the bottom right in oil and on the back in pencil with the title and year.
