Sheltered Sky (20×16)

Sheltered Sky was created in the late winter of 2021 on a cold clear day with light spilling through the canopy, warming the canvas and lighting up the branches and Resurrection Ferns. Painted en plein air in in the oak grove next to Story Land at City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is an original oil painting on canvas and measures 20x16x.75 inches. The painting continues on the edges. It is signed on the bottom right and on the back in pencil with the title and year. It is varnished and unframed.
